Sunday afternoon

Today is Grandson Drew's 19th birthday.  Happy birthday Andrew Brian Kowis.

We are both still trying to shake our colds.  I have pretty much come through it, but Lela is always fighting the sinus infection that follows her cold.  We have both been on antibiotics now for three days.  Hopefully Lela will continue to improve, otherwise it will be a trip to Walgreen's clinic tomorrow.

We located the Queen creek Church Of Christ.  They meet in a home about 20 minutes away from the park.

Their numbers are from 10 to 20 on a given Sunday.  We were welcomed and included in the worship.  We will definitely return.  It feels like the first century church that met in homes.

1 Corinthians 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

Romans 16:5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my well beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

Colossians 4:15 - Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church that meets at her house.

There are other scriptures as well that speak of the early church and where they gathered.

Friday was grandson Ben's 15 birthday. We stayed around the park and tried to stop coughing and blowing.  It wasn't a very comfortable day.  Ben's b'day will be celebrated tomorrow.

Saturday March 7, Happy 67th birthday to my brother Dan! He is still the baby.

Saturday, we were a little bit recovered, but Lela isn't as far along as I am.  We went to Red Robin to celebrate Ben's 15th.

  After Red Robin we returned to Ben's house for brownies and ice cream.  He opened gifts and we all had a good time.
