I haven't posted for a few days as we haven't really done anything worthy of sharing.
Monday, Feb. 2, we had a storm. The wind blew up to 30 mph gusts and the rain came down hard. The temperature was in the middle 50's. It was a raw day by AZ standards. It was an inside on the couch day.
Tuesday wasn't much better. The temps stayed in the low 60's and the wind stayed up. I started with a head cold.
Wednesday, the weather improved and the sun came out. We attended a meeting of the HOA in the park. Coffee and donuts were served and we met several people.
I was still having issues with the head cold and Lela was beginning the same process. I was able to get outside and finish the yard decorations, i.e. the party lights and solar luminaries.

Since we were outside for a while we met several of the neighbors. We met a couple for "happy hour" at their site and enjoyed their company and gathered info about the area and the park. His name is Bruce and he is a golfer. I hope to get out soon and play. My clubs think I must have died.
Today, Thursday the 5th, we both started on Amoxicillin as our colds are progressing. We did get out for a while...Walgreens for medication, and a walk around the park. We are very happy with this park. The people are friendly and the staff is exceptional.
Hopefully we will be shaking the head colds and be back to normal soon.
