Tuesday Afternoon

Golf day today.  Two days in a row has my back hollering at me.  Aleve is the answer.

I didn't play very well today ( 47-44 ).  It was the first day I wore shorts since we left home.  It was 41 degrees when I left home this morning, but warmed up quickly.  Currently, 79 degrees.

We have been busy breaking camp this afternoon.. Lela takes care of stowing everything inside and I take care of repacking the truck.  She was busy doing laundry this morning.

I had to rearrange most of what we pack in the truck, because we pull so much out of there to do our set-up.

We are ready to go into town for supper tonight.  There is a BBQ place named Busbee's that we haven't tried.  http://www.busbeesbbq.com/

Sunday, Feb 8, After church we drove into Kerrville to get some supplies to take on the road.
We dove Hwy 16 back from there. It is a very scenic drive that the motorcycles love.  even in the truck we had to slow to 10 MPH on some of the turns.

We took a couple more pictures around the park here.  I am impressed with the Live Oak trees.

Monday, Feb 9, was a golf day.  I played pretty well, but didn't score as well as I played.  It seems that you have to be able to putt to make a good score. 41-44 was okay but easily could have been better.

We pretty much just relaxed yesterday afternoon.  I BBQd pork steaks, Lela baked a potato and we watched some TV and retired.

I almost forgot to post the pictures of Lela's Longhorn and Becky's goat which I mentioned a few days ago.  They both bought yard art and saved a rock.
