Jocelyn's Birthday
Big John's Birthday (70)
Yesterday, Feb. 4, Lela and Becky headed to Comfort TX. They shopped and took in the local color. Teddy and I stayed in Bandera. Comfort is another of those early frontier towns.
This building had no plaque, but appears to be some kind of theater
This is the info for the building in the next picture
Historic Comfort Hotel
Many of the buildings in the Texas Hill Country are built from local limestone and rock.
Buffalo, home on the fenced range.
When they returned we returned to Paps Italian restaurant where we had a good experience last time.
Teddy hasn't been feeling well for the last couple days so we skipped the DQ blizzard last night.
Today, Feb. 5 Teddy and Becky are breaking camp and securing their trailer for the trip home. We grilled some steaks outside, and had a good lunch in the Silver Star so they could pack up their kitchen gear.
I think there will be one more trip to DQ for a blizzard tonight. They intend to pull out about 8 A.M.
