Valentine's Day
We are waking this morning to warm weather and the promise of a wonderful Valentine Day.
Yesterday, Feb. 13, We left Benson, AZ and headed to Countryside RV Park in Apache Junction, where we will be for two weeks.

We left the interstate in Tucson and traveled the scenic route which took us through Florence AZ on #79. The exit Google suggested took us through about 12 miles of stoplights at every 100 yards before we got out of town. But it was worth it to see the countryside.
These are two pictures from yesterday's travel.

Notice the motorcycle guys on the right. They man this monument everyday.
Countryside RV Park is about 500 spaces so it is kind of cramped by the standards we are used to. When we got to our site #463, there wasn't much room to maneuver a 34 ft. trailer into the space. The neighbor tells us that they usually put a much smaller trailer in this space.
The neighbors were all watching as I assessed the situation. I told them I don't want anyone laughing at me as I tried to back in. They were all very helpful as they had all been in the same situation. People moved motorcycles and trucks and cars from the sites across the road and helped to guide me in.
We got set up and called Paul & Christy. They invited us for pizza, which is a normal Friday supper for them. We stayed until about 8 PM and returned to the Silver Star as our biological clocks are still operating on Central Time. I guess it will take a few days to get used to Mountain Time.

Today we are changing our closets from cold to warm. The forecast here is for unseasonably warm weather. Today's forecast may beat the record of 84 degrees. The winter clothes are going to the "truck closet."
We intend to walk the park this afternoon and check out the amenities and get our exercise for today
Then we are invited to a BBQ at Paul's. We are supposed to grill pork steaks on a new Weber One Touch grill. I'll get some pictures of the kids and post them later.
