Greetings from the sick and infirm.  We are still fighting the crud.  G'pa is still having trouble with sinus drainage and Lela is still on the couch, coughing and blowing.  G'pa is now on day 8, while Lela is only on day 5.

The sun is out early this morning and our temps are rising.  It looks like a beautiful day.

I managed to get on the golf league roster for yesterday at Western Skies GC.

I was originally told that the roster was full.  About 7 AM I received a call that there was a cancellation and there was a spot for me.  The weather wasn't very good as we had a thunderstorm overnight and the course had cart path only rules.

Tee time temps were in the middle 50's. I played better than I expected as I hadn't hit a ball since the first week in September.  I managed 42/44 for an 86 (two penalty shots).  Not to shabby for the first time out and in muddy conditions.

It hadn't rained here for over 100 days, so I guess I brought it with me.  We had a lot of wind and rain from a thunderstorm Tuesday Night. It brought some much needed snow to the high country and ski resorts.

I grilled steaks last night, trying to get real food into the patients.  They were tasty and made us feel better.

I bought a used bike from the "bike man," Ray, who lives in the park.  When Lela is recovered we'll be cruising the park.
