We awoke this morning to overcast skies and high winds (40 mph.). It was bad enough for me to take the flag down to avoid damage. By 10 AM the wind had died down and the skies were blue and the temp reached 83 today.
We went to church at Bullhead City Church of Christ. It is a small congregation much like our congregation at home. The preacher's name is Bill Keller. He is 81 years old and was very good.
After worship we went to Tim & Tracy's apt. to decide how to spend our day. It was decided that Tim an I would go to the free classic car museum in the Riverside Casino.

Tim and Tracy have been such wonderful hosts and tour guides, that we cannot thank them enough. Great couple, great friends.
Yesterday, Saturday, was a full day. We drove north a little way to Lake Mojave on the Colorado River. It is formed behind Davis Dam.

There is a lot of history here. Bull Head City was actually a result of the Davis Camp, which was where the workers lived while building the dam. It is 68 miles below Hoover dam. There is too much to see in this area in the short time we have.
When we left there we went into the Lake Meade area but didn't travel all the way to the dam.
Finger Rock
We viewed Davis dam from above, and then went into Laughlin, NV.
There is a park across the river and we walked the trail (paved). It was about 5 miles round trip. The trail leads to another park below the dam. It was fun to see it from both views.

When we returned from our hike, we went to an outdoor area of the Colorado Belle Casino called The Loading Dock for Hors de oeuvres and beverages.
There was live entertainment and we enjoyed ourselves very much.
afterwards, Lela and Tracy bought some fish food to feed the Coy Fish in the surrounding moat.
We returned to the apt. where Lela and I provided supper. Tim grilled the steaks and we all ate too much, but the company was great.
