We left AZ on Oct. 26 and drove about 15 hours to Abilene, TX on the southern route to go through Dallas to see H. E.. It was strange driving without the Silver Star in tow. The Silver Star remains in San Tan Valley where it won't need to be winterized.
It is hard to believe that less than three weeks ago I was shoveling sunshine and watching my lemon tree grow.
We returned to mild temps and fall foliage in the back yard.

On last Saturday Judy, Jim, Dan, Dar, Lela, Ana and I met for lunch to remember Joe and Michael on their birthdays. Missing my brothers every day. (neglected to get a picture)
Last week we celebrated Jared's birthday with dinner at our house. Lela made him a Reese's peanut butter cake. Ron and Gloria came to celebrate.

Halloween was upon us as soon as we got home. Lela and I went to Ana's house for the trick or treat night. Jared and I sat on the porch and passed out candy while Gen, Grandma and Ana covered the neighborhood.

After seeing H. we stopped in Springfield to see Aunt Bertie as usual. She is back home after some therapy for the stroke. She seemed to be recovering very well.

In Bedford to see H. E. we were treated to a Brahma hockey game. Brahma is the name of Hillard IV's team. Hillard is #77 in the pics (taken through a window).
