On May 16th Austin turned 16. There was a small party at his house to mark the occasion.
On May 17th Shelby (from Illinois) graduated from the 8th grade and will attend Jerseyville H. S. in the fall. We attended the festivities at the KC hall. For those who don't know, we have to designate which Shelby we are talking about by her state as we also have another Shelby in Texas, who also graduated from the 8th grade this year and will attend Pasedena H.S. in the fall.

On the same day Pam turned 40, so we were there to wish her a happy b'day.
May 18th had us at an Airstream rally in Villa Ridge, MO at Pin Oak Park.
Lela and I were in charge of a silent auction to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, which is the Airstream charity for this year.
The auction brought in $288.00. That brings our club total to over $1200.00 which we will present to WW Project at the International Rally.
On May 22 Austin's Punk band "Anti-Prophet" performed at a St. Louis Club for the first time. They were well received by the audience. We attended his opening. They were the opening act. Anti-Prophet consists of three 16 year old boys, Austin on lead guitar and vocals, Mike on Bass and Matthew on Drums. While "Punk" is not our style of music, G'ma and I were proud of Austin
Last Sunday,May 26, we traveled to Branson to visit with our good friends Curt and Kay. They have a timeshare and invited us to visit. Curt and I got in two rounds of golf while the girls did what the girls do. We went to the landing for dinner at a mexican restaurant.
Monday we headed for Texas to see Drew graduate from The Woodlands H.S.. We are not in The Silver Star as we will be staying at Noel's house. There are several "festivities" planned so we should be kept busy. We overnighted just south of Dallas on Monday night and arrived in The Wodlands on Tuesday about noontime.
As you can see, we are not gathering any dust. Since we retired we have been on the go constantly.
I think today must be Saturday again.
